For many, Sunday is an ideal timeslot for inserting a regular meditation practice into a weekly routine. It is our western culture’s day for pausing from work and tending to spirituality. And as the seventh day, it offers the chance to both end this week and start next week on a peaceful note.
Accordingly, our sangha centers our efforts at supporting one another on Sundays. Many of us check-into our Slack chat on Sundays. And if possible we meditate sometime during the day, visualizing ourselves as sitting together.
